Regional Certification Offices

Regional Certification Offices (RCOs) are operated by Boards of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES).  Not all BOCES provide the services of a Regional Certification Office.  A limited number of these offices are open to the public. You should telephone in advance to determine availability.  Their certification specialists can advise on requirements for certification, evaluate credentials for many (but not all) certificate titles/pathways, and offer expedited processing of applications via the district superintendent’s request.
