Individuals Requesting Verification of New York State Teacher Certification

Certification Verification letters to be discontinued

Individuals holding New York State professional credentials for public school service that have been lost or destroyed may apply for a printed copy of their respective certificate(s). The New York State Office of Teaching Initiatives no longer provides letters verifying an individual's New York State teacher Certification status. Individual's holding a New York State credential for public school service may apply for a duplicate certificate, for more information go to Printed Certificate .
