Safety Nets for certain single-subject Revised Content Specialty Tests that are set to expire on June 30, 2019

As you may be aware, the Board of Regents adopted safety nets for the revised Content Specialty Tests (CSTs) that went operational in fall 2016. The safety net provisions for the CSTs that went operational in fall 2016, which are listed below, will expire on June 30, 2019.
Please advise all faculty, staff, and students that, effective July 1, 2019, any candidates pursuing certification in one of the fields listed below who have not already taken and passed a CST in that field will be required to take the revised Content Specialty Test.

Please also note that the safety net for the Multi-Subject: Secondary Teachers (Grades 7-12), Part Two: Mathematics (242) test for Students with Disabilities (Grades 7-12) Generalist certification also expires on June 30, 2019.
