Provisional School Counselor Deadline Extended - for New York State Program Completers Only

April 19, 2023. At its April 2023 meeting, the New York State Board of Regents adopted an emergency regulation change that allows candidates in NY-registered school counselor education programs to apply and qualify for the Provisional School Counselor certificate prior to February 2, 2024.
