Description |
The Transitional G certificate permits eligible individuals who have two years of post-secondary teaching experience in the area of the certificate sought or a closely related subject area (one course for two semesters per year), hold a graduate degree, and hold either an undergraduate degree or graduate degree in the subject area of the certificate sought or a closely related area to be employed as a classroom teacher in a New York State public school district. The school district will submit a recommendation in the TEACH system for the application. NOTE: Charter Schools cannot recommend for Transitional G certification. |
