    FAQ:

Q: How many times can I renew the Initial TA certificate?

A: You can renew the certificate as many times as you’d like.

Q: What happens if I let my Initial TA certificate lapse? Can I still get a Renewal?

A: Yes! You can apply for a Renewal after having stopped out for a while. The Renewal will be valid from the day it is issued.

Q: My TA level I certificate is about to expire; can I apply for this Renewal?

A: No, you would need to apply for the Initial TA certificate and then move to the Renewal when you near the five-year expiration date.
