Mentoring Resources

This resource for New York State educators is intended to assist educators/districts as they prepare for the implementation of proposed professional development and teacher certification requirements, including establishment of teacher mentoring programs.

Sponsored and maintained by the Office of Teaching Initiatives, it is founded on the belief that teacher induction and support promotes skillfulness among beginning teachers, and contributes to building collaborative teaching and learning communities in schools.

Comments regarding teacher induction and support may be directed to: Nancy Brennan
