  We accept applications for Board membership in all categories at any time. In addition, there is an immediate vacancy in the category below. We invite you to apply for immediate appointment to the Board if you have an interest in helping to shape teaching policy in New York State and if you qualify as:

• School Administrator Member
  Building- or district-level school leader

We invite you to apply for immediate appointment to the Board if you have an interest in helping to shape teaching policy in New York State and if you qualify in the following category:

• Public Member
  Representative of business, parent group, community organization, etc.
  
  
• Teacher Member
  Classroom teacher or pupil personnel services professional.
  
  
• Student Member
  Full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student matriculated in a NYS teacher preparation program.
