Subject:	Update - School Leadership Certification Examination

I am writing to update my memorandum of April 15, 2008 with further information on the administration schedule for the school leadership certification examinations and to urge you to advise all of the students in your programs, in writing, as soon as possible, of the following information.

The first four administrations of the examinations for candidates for certification in the school leadership titles School Building Leader (SBL), School District Leader (SDL), and School District Business Leader (SDBL) are scheduled as follows:
October 25, 2008 First administration Registration deadline September 19, 2008
February 28, 2009 Second administration Registration deadline January 26, 2009
April 25, 2009 Third administration Registration deadline March 20, 2009
June 27-28 2009 Fourth administration Registration deadline May 22, 2009
More detailed registration information regarding these administration dates will be available shortly on the website of Pearson/National Evaluations Systems, Inc. at: www.nystce.nesinc.com .
