Becoming Certified - What's My Next Step?

The certification process has many steps.  The Office of Teaching Initiatives' (OTI) priority is to process and evaluate applications that are complete and issue certificates. Each week the office receives hundreds of applications through our new system and thousands of new pieces of regular mail.  Given the volume of applications, and the priority of issuing certificates as expeditiously as possible to qualified applicants, we have little time to respond to the steady flow of daily telephone and email inquiries.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we urge interested applicants and other parties to take full advantage of the many resources available on the OTI Web site to answer their certification-related questions.

So, what is your next step? Please follow this Question & Answer Trail. It can help you move along the path to certification as we, at the Office of Teaching Initiatives, do our best to serve you.
