Subject: Emergency Adoption of a Proposed Regulation – Tuition Assistance Program

At its September 14, 2010 meeting, the Board of Regents approved by emergency adoption a proposed regulation relating to standards of academic progress for the 2010-2011 academic year for students in an approved remedial program in regard to a student’s eligibility for a Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) award.

The Department will shortly be issuing additional guidance to assist institutions in complying with this new emergency regulation.
