Nontraditional Employment and Training

Perkins III has targeted funds to assist postsecondary institutions to recruit, enroll and retain students in programs that are nontraditional to their genders. The New York State Education Department has awarded a grant to the SUNY at Albany's Two-Year College Development Center to provide statewide technical assistance for nontraditional programming. The Center operates under the direction of Sandra McGarraugh, Director, NYS Project for Nontraditional Training and Employment.

Postsecondary institutions that wish to request assistance in their efforts to enroll, retain, and graduate students in programs that are nontraditional for their genders may contact Ms. McGarraugh at:
