Important announcement concerning the 2008-2013 LPP RFP

Dear President,

In response to the transportation difficulties of interested parties caused by the snow storm that fell on the day of the Liberty Partnerships Program 2008-2013 RFP Bidders Conference in December, the State Education Department has decided to hold a special Question and Answer session on the LPP RFP in Albany.  We are also extending the Q & A period for the Liberty Partnerships Program RFP process (via e-mail) through January 18, 2008.  The due date of the application for funding an LPP project for 2008-2013 remains February 1, 2008.

Instructions

(1) Special Q&A Session in Albany:

Date:               Friday, January 18, 2008
Time:               1:00 -4:00
Location:         Cultural Education Center
                        Carole Huxley Theatre (the Old Museum Theatre)
                        Madison Avenue, between Swan & Eagle Street
                        Albany, New York 12230

Please have staff planning to attend pre-register by Wednesday, January 16th by sending an e-mail of their intent to attend the Q&A Session to: LPP RFP@mail.nysed.gov. They should include their name, title and the name of the organization/agency they will represent.

 

(2). E-mail support:

Please have staff send questions to LPPRFP@mail.nysed.gov and we will post their questions and our responses on a rolling basis on the LPP Website up to January 18, 2008

Note:

The above information also will be announced through e-mail to current project directors, all persons that previously expressed interest in attending the Bidders Conference and through a posting on the LPP website.

The deadline for receiving Funding Applications remains close of business, February 1, 2008.
