Directors' Course Fall 2008 Agenda - Albany, New York
November 4, 5, and 6, 2008
While we make every effort not to schedule the Director Course on or around holidays, increased demand for conference room space during the Fall of 2008 requires that we schedule this course to begin on Election Day. We apologize for the inconvenience and strongly encourage participants to obtain absentee ballots from their local Board of Elections office. We will also enclose ballots with the invitations.
The final agenda for the Fall 2008
offering of the Directors' Course is currently under construction. The course is required for directors with permits
in order to upgrade those permits to full director licenses. The program must be
completed within one year of the effective date of the director's permit.
Note: All 3 days of the course are required to be completed in order to meet the
requirements for permit upgrade.
The course is by invitation only. Any
individual who is not sure whether (s)he has been invited should contact the
office at bpss@mail.nysed.gov.
All invitees must confirm their intention and commitment
to attend the course by regular mail or email as will be explained in the
invitation. Only when that is done, will a place be reserved in the
course for the director and the reservation noted on our web page to confirm
that the reservation has been made. Invitations will be mailed in October
2008. Please do not contact the office prior to October 2008.
