Guidelines for Non-English Language Instruction

Submit two copies of the complete curriculum application in the language for which the curriculum is to be taught.

Since the instructor(s) of the program need not know English, we require that the curriculum application must exist in the language of instruction and be on file at the school.

Submit two copies of the complete curriculum application in English, literally translated from the foreign language version.

Since we do not have staff or outside evaluators who are fluent in multiple languages, the evaluation must be done on an English language curriculum.

Submit an original notarized statement from a translator fluent in both English and the language of instruction affirming that the translation is accurate and as literal as possible.

Once approved, the language of instruction will appear parenthetically behind the title of the program. The school will receive an approved copy of the foreign language curriculum as well as a copy of the English translation. Please note that the enrollment agreements must always be in written in the language of the sales presentation. Therefore, a school may need to submit a foreign language enrollment agreement as well in order to fully implement a foreign language program.
