NYS is in the process of embarking on an ambitious reform agenda to fundamentally improve teaching and learning. The State Education Department's Office of Higher Education has launched a new website to coordinate and strengthen NYS’s higher education system. The new site features many new resources that will help us all as we continue this work.
The College Scorecard highlights key indicators about the cost and value of institutions. The tool is interactive, so students can choose among any number of options based on their individual needs – including location, size, campus setting, and degree and major programs. Each Scorecard includes five key pieces of data about a college: costs, graduation rate, loan default rate, average amount borrowed, and employment.
